  5. Minimum System Requirements:

  7.           - A '030, '040, or Power Macintosh
  8.           - System 7.0 or later
  9.           - QuickTime 2.1 (included on this CD)
  10.           - 4MB of RAM free (check "About this Macintosh" in the Apple menu)
  11.           - A double-speed CD-ROM drive
  12.           - Support for 256 or more colors
  13.  
  14. To install and run:
  15. ----------------
  16. Ñ Copy the items from the "Put in System" folder on this CD-ROM
  17.    into your system folder (you may need to remove the old "QuickTime"
  18.    file from the "Extensions" folder which is inside the system folder),
  19.    and reboot.
  20. Ñ Drag the "Reformatory" application to your hard drive.
  21. Ñ Make sure there are not any other applications running.
  22. Ñ Run the application from your hard drive.  You may also run it from the CD-ROM,
  23.    but you may find it a bit slower.

  25. If the video doesn't play smoothly:

  27. Ñ Check the "Memory" control panel and make sure virtual memory is off.
  28.    If it isn't, turn it off and reboot.
  29. Ñ Make sure QuickTime 2.1 is installed in your System.
  30. Ñ Setting your monitor to "256 Colors" may improve the movie's smoothness.

  32. If the movies are "grainy," and the color is not clear:

  34. Ñ Setting your monitor to "Thousands of Colors," when possible, will
  35.    generally provide the best quality.

  37. If the screen goes white:

  39. Ñ You are probably out of memory.  You must have 4Mb available RAM to play
  40.    this game.  You can check this by going to the Finder, and choosing "About
  41.    this Macintosh" from the Apple menu.
  42. Ñ Make sure there are no other applications running.
  43. Ñ Setting your monitor to "256 Colors" may help.
